A geofence is a digital area that the app creates over the real world map and then monitors to see when your students enter or leave that area, allowing you to do attendance or check-in on your students in a variety of ways:
- Every event location has a geofence attached to it, allowing you to see which students are present for each event and do attendance throughout the day
- Starting a headcount creates a geofence around your location, allowing you to see which students are currently with you
- Dorms/Homestay families also have geofences attached to them, allowing you to check-in on your students at night to ensure all of them are safe and sound
*Geofences the app creates are normally a 50m circle, but can be adjusted to be larger depending on the event.
